Reetahan Mukhopadhyay

Reetahan is a second-year Ph.D. student at NYU advised by Julia Stoyanovich. Reetahan aims to investigate issues of fairness and robustness in machine learning and other algorithmic decision-making systems.

Before joining NYU, Reetahan worked as a data engineer at Trexquant Investments and as a data scientist at Virtualitics. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, along with minor degrees in Mathematics and in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Reetahan enjoys basketball, trivia, and exploring New York City.
